//Hi thanks for asking, I hope I’m not a bother with this! (I’ll explain a bit more than I probably need to.)
Kotori is an OC, I roleplay her from this account and in just one thread loosely related to Hanabi. There was a fanfiction I was writing about her and Hanabi but since I no longer am writing fanfiction type things that’s in the dumps right now.
She’s just a character that I originally came up with before I started rping Hanabi. Before I was rping Hanabi I was writing a fanfiction which she was eventually going to be included in, in it she was going to sort of console Ritsuka during some tough times and I wanted her to have a faithful friend by her side so Kotori came into the picture. I’ve been developing her for some time since then, and my friend and Soubi rper helps me develop her by indulging me in our rp. It’s here if you are actually wondering.
Sometimes I mention Kotori outside of that thread through Hanabi because she’s become a part of Hanabi as I rp her. I talk a lot about Hanabi’s old boyfriends and bad break ups so it’s good to have her successful relationship around in my mind too! I know OCs aren’t most people’s favorite thing but Kotori just exists because I enjoy writing Hanabi a friend and I have really created a lot of OCs around Hanabi that are much less developed like her mom, church ladies and her past boyfriends.

They try not to, but it happens occasionally. Usually over jealousy or reasons like ‘you’ve been away too long’ ‘you’re working too much’ ‘I’m bothering you.’

Kotori panics and Hanabi has her usual good time but misses Kotori.

Koto and Hana? But I try not to use them because I realize some people think these nicknames are no good? But I still use them a lot when I’m thinking.

Kind of an even split.

Hanabi. (Same as with Soubi.)

Kotori gets nervous about picking a good gift but in the end she finds something that works a lot better than she thought it would. She tends to go for the practical gift. Hanabi chooses gifts that are more pampering. They usually both splurge more than they can afford on each other occasionally.

When Soubi pushes her away they tend to get into a argument of tenderheartedness. Sometimes they bicker, but neither would bother to full out fight.

Hanabi would try to think about what he would want but realize he’s kind of tricky to buy gifts for. She would treat him to a date and buy him some expensive paints. Soubi might buy her alcohol.
